The new Danish Energy Minister has spoken to the Turkish Anadolu Agency about U.S. President Obama's climate plan.
The Minister has high expectations for the new climate plan and believes that the plan will attract more order for Danish Clean Tech providers, such as Vestas.
"The individual states will, as part of the revised Clean Power Plan over the coming years, be obliged to develop concrete plans on how they will implement Obama's revised Clean Power Plan," the minister i.a. said.

We are very pleased to announce that Altaca Energy, one of the DGGN members, completed the construction of the largest BioGas Plant in Turkey. The integrated biogas, organic waste facility and bio-fertilizer plant, which is located in Gönen, Balıkesir in the Aegean Region, was officially opened on the 10th of July, 2015 with the participation of Taner Yıldız, Turkish Energy and Natural Resources Minister. Yıldız praised the project and said, "Facilities like this are in dire need for Turkey. They have so many positive effects on Turkey's energy mix. I attach great importance to such projects, both for the engineering know-how of their technological aspects, and for our energy ministry as well."

Denmark, one of the top countries in the wind energy, produces 140 per cent of its electricity needs through wind power recently. Denmark wants to share its many years of experience in the wind sector not only in trade and production but also in terms of education.
In this framework, Denmark Energy and Climate Academy continues providing educational courses in the energy and environment fields to share the experience and knowledge acquired since 1970s when the renewable energy sector has started to develop in Denmark.

Switzerland’s SolarSuperState Association has published an update of its ranking of countries for 2015. In terms of per capita installed wind power capacity, Denmark won the first prize with its 852 Watt capacity. Sweden took the second place with its 557 Watt capacity, and Spain came in the third with 495 Watt.

InterContinental Wind Power Congress - IWPC 2015 is going to be organized with the support of European Wind Energy Association (EWEA) and Global Wind Energy Council (GWEC) in Istanbul between March 30 – April 2, 2015 under the organization by the Turkish Wind Energy Association.
Eurostat announced that the rate of renewables in total energy consumption in the EU reached 14.1% in 2012. Sweden, Denmark and Austria achieved the highest increase rate for renewable energy in 2004-2012.
Denmark was among the five countries from which Turkey importes electricity last year. Turkey bought 3.4 million KWs of electricity from Denmark for USD308,000.
This was the very first Turkish presidential visit to Denmark. The main agenda for President Gül's visit was trade and exploring the areas of cooperation between the Denmark and Turkey. President Gül visited Denmark with a large delegation of businesspeople, especially focusing on the identified priority sectors: energy, healthcare and food & drink.
