ÇEDBiKThe Turkish Green Building Council (TGBC) aims to contribute to the building industry's development by means of the spread of principles of sustainability. Turkish Green Building Council; which was established in 2007, under the leadership of our founding president Mr. Ali Nihat GOKYIGIT and our founding vice president Ms. Duygu ERTEN has now more than 100 supporting members.

GÜNDERGÜNDER, which was founded in 1991, maintains studies in development of industry, science and technology in the field of solar energy by establishing the regulatory framework and raising awareness. GÜNDER is a unique non-governmental organization of Turkey that consists of administrators and civil servants of public bodies, academic members and industry representatives of Solar Thermal and PV, is the voice of solar energy by representing the entire value chain. GÜNDER is not only the member of ISES, SolarPower Europe (the new EPIA) and ESTIF, but also represents Turkish Republic in the programs of IEA SHC and IEA PVPS.

izka.pngIzmir Development Agency, are an officially established Regional Development Agency in Turkey which is responsible for the local economic and social development along with the promotion of the city of Izmir. IZKA, was founded by law and all our activities are coordinated by “The Turkish Ministry of Development”. The members of the management board are the Governor of Izmir (President), the Izmir Metropolitan Municipality Mayor, the President of Chamber of Commerce and the President of the Chamber of Industry and three elected members from some business associations.

Turkish Wind Energy AssociationTurkish Wind Energy Association (TWEA) established at 10 February 1992 with 92/2752 council of ministers decision is a non-profit organization, follows scientific, technical and practical studies about wind energy and operates in expanding the usage of wind energy resources.

logo writrscWRI Turkey Sustainable Cities started its projects on transportation in Turkey as EMBARQ in 2005. With an institutional re-organization in 2012, EMBARQ renewed its formation and continued its projects in Turkey under EMBARQ Turkey Sustainable Transportation Association. To introduce integrated solutions to urban problems, WRI united its programs dedicated to cities under WRI Ross Center for Sustainable Cities in 2015. The EMBARQ Centers in Brazil, China, India, Mexico and Turkey adapted to the organizational change and became country offices of WRI Ross Center for Sustainable Cities producing integrated urban solutions in mobility, urban development, energy efficiency and climate change areas.
